    My years of dressing you up in a cutesy outfits are running out, in fact you will probably have an opinion next year. So this my be the lat animal i will be able to dress you up as, but what a good choice right? So cute.

Happy Second Bithday!

Dear Gray, 

 You are now 2 years old. We had your party at a splash pad and you loved it. I made chicken salad sandwiches. We drank CapriSun's. Austin got you a soccer ball. You loved it. We had to pry it away so that you would open your other gifts. You loved your cake hard. Family was there, friends were there. It was pretty magical.

 

 

Almost 2

Dear Gray,

      I hope you know how much I love you. Recently I have been feeling guilty for playing favorite a little bit with you. You're so cuddly. You are just so light and small at %3 average and you are just talking all the time so you look like a little baby genius. Even though your tall, you don't look 2. I don't think you could be any cutter. I honestly have never seen a cuter little boy. You say all kinds of things now but you have a weird little accent. Close to everything ends in "ah": ex. Mommyah. You can't quite say Lydia yet, you call her Dia. It's starting to stick. You also say "found it" followed by what ever it is that you found. The problem is when you have something in your mouth it sounds like another "f" word. Your sister is going through a slightly mean stage right now. Boo.

    You have started to realize that you don't have to listen to us but that there are consequences, and for some reason you really like time out. You started climbing out and into your crib but after one day of no nap you climbed out for the 18 time that day and fell and hit your head, so now your over that. Good choice.
You really enjoy nudity. Lucky for you being as skinny as you are means you can fit out the neck hole on anything. For a while there you kept taking your diaper off. Poop all over your bed and you were fine with it. But then it happened again and I heard you crying really hard and there you were huddled in the corner away from the turd. So I hope that's over. Yesterday you took off your diaper and then peed ALL OVER your bed. At least I hope this all means you will be potty trained soon. You have peed in the potty but that is about it.
You really like shoes. And Necklaces, but usually only to put into cups. I don't know.

In your second year.

Dear Graycen,

You are so cuddly. Literally half of every hour needs to be filled with kisses and hugs or at least just sitting on my lap. You will just come over and climb onto our laps all on your own and sit there and then when you have our attention you say "hug". That is also how you ask for food. Your first word was "mama". Then came "eat". Then "car". "Ball". "Bubye" which shortened to "bye". And last "Hi".

Of course you can say many other things if I ask you to repeat it but you don't quite understand the meaning, not even of "dada". But if I say go see dada you know what I'm talking about. You just don't use the word to refer to him but I'm sure that will come soon.
