The Fourth Month of Life

Dear Graycen,

                  Please stop sticking your tongue out when I kiss you, you shouldn't kiss your mom like that. I know, I know right now I look like I could be in High School but someday it will weird you out. ;) 

                  I am so proud of you, you have chosen to look just like me! After a year of trying to see my face in Lydia I'm so happy to have a little Minnie Me. I never realized how freaking cute my dimple is until I saw it on your chubby little cheeks. It is quite the conundrum how you can have such big jowls and such a skinny little body but, oh goodness, do I love to kiss them. You just love to put your little face to mine and go cheek to cheek. 

                  Although it looks otherwise below, you have started sleeping in your own room this month. You had graduated to the pack-and-play last month and now to your own crib. Just in case this fact causes separation issues in the future, it was all your dad's fault. I only consented because I can still hear every whimper you make and I run across the apartment for you.

The Third Month of Life

Dear Graycen, 

     Congratulations! This month you stopped looking like a Benjamin Button (an old man baby) and started looking like a Cabbage Patch. And you got to be a little tiger for your First Halloween.

The Second Month of Life

Dear Graycen, 

       Ok so I maybe didn't do so well at taking pictures this month. I'm sorry. I'm still slightly recovering and I  have two babies. Forgive me? At least I still got pictures of your first crush, the lion on your baby swing. You love this chair, even though you are an amazingly behaved baby boy, you are still a two month old and the only way we could get you to sleep was in this swing chair. You got real close. This was also your first almost smile. Go you.
